Ministries at Community of Hope

Christianity is a team sport, and so high priority is placed on opportunities to connect with one another.  Part of the joy of the Christian life is learning more about our traveling companions. The Connecting section of our website aims to assist in this goal.

Several of our ministries are designed to connect age specific groups or needs. For example:

  • MOPS
  • Childrens Ministry/Pioneer Club
  • Youth Ministry
  • Adults
  • Active Adults

Cell Groups offer weekly opportunities to worship, study, pray and serve each other.  Many groups meet at homes all over the Tucson area at different times of the day.

Topic driven ministries like Alpha and Celebrate Recovery help meet specific needs.

Prime Timers 50+ Ministry at Community of Hope is open to all 50 and over (if you are under 50 don't worry; we'd love to have you join us anyway!)  Our Christian ministry; offering fellowship, information, service opportunities and support, is not limited to congregational members. Alpha

Who is the Alpha course for? People attend from many different backgrounds, religions and viewpoints.  They attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death.  Still others may have attended church all their life, but feel they never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.
